(1)Migrating dunes: transverse & barchan dunes
(2)Elongating dunes: linear dunes
(3)Accumulating dunes: star dunes
(Aufrere,1931;Wasson and Hyde,1983;Thomas,1992,1997;Lanca ster,1995)
沙丘分类因素
风速,
风向的固定性,
沙粒的供应量,
植物及地面特性.

沙崩的原因
红色圈圈是指背风侧
的坡度上砂粒堆积到
超过砂的休止角,即
34 的最大限度时,
就发生砂崩,直到再
回到34 的倾角为止
滑落面就这样造成.

沙丘类型的定义
Transverse Dunes
Dome dune(圆丘):an isolated,usually transverse dune with no slip face.
Barchan dune(新月丘):a free transverse dune with a crescentic plan-shape in
which the crescent opens downwind.
Transverse dune(横丘):dune ridges with crests transverse to the dominant wind,
which migrate,for the most part,in the direction of the
dominant wind.
Reversing dunes(对丘):transverse dunes that reverse in the direction as the wind
changes through 180 .
Linear Dunes
Seif dune剑丘,纵丘:a sinuous,sharp-crested,linear dune.
Sand ridge(VLDs)砂脊:partly vegetated linear dune,usually large than a seif.

Star Dunes
Star dune星丘:a large pyramidal or dome-like dune with arms.
Network dune网状丘:result of the overlap of a number of transverse dune
system,each aligned to a different wind in a complex
annual regime.
